Rules and Regulations

1. General Conduct

  • Respect: All students must respect fellow students, teachers, staff, and school property.
  • Behavior: Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination is strictly prohibited.
  • Language: Use of inappropriate language is not tolerated.
  • Attire: Students must wear the prescribed school uniform and maintain a neat appearance.

2. Attendance and Punctuality

  • Attendance: Regular attendance is mandatory. Students must maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible for examinations.
  • Punctuality: Students should arrive at school and attend classes on time.
  • Leave: Leave applications should be submitted in advance, and for medical leave, a doctor’s certificate is required.

3. Academic Integrity

  • Homework: Students are expected to complete and submit homework and assignments on time.
  • Examinations: Cheating or use of unfair means in examinations will result in strict disciplinary action.
  • Projects: All project work should be original. Plagiarism is not acceptable.

4. Use of Electronic Devices

  • Mobile Phones: The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during school hours. Phones must be submitted to the office if brought to school.
  • Other Devices: Any electronic devices such as tablets, laptops, etc., must only be used under the supervision of a teacher.

5. Health and Safety

  • Medical Conditions: Parents must inform the school of any medical conditions their child has.
  • Emergencies: In case of medical emergencies, the school will take necessary actions and inform parents immediately.
  • Prohibited Items: Students are not allowed to bring any hazardous items, such as sharp objects or any kind of weapon, to school.

6. Extra-Curricular Activities

  • Participation: Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities but must balance them with their academic responsibilities.
  • Conduct: Students must adhere to the same standards of conduct during extra-curricular activities as during regular school hours.

7. Library Rules

  • Usage: The library is a quiet study area. Students must maintain silence and handle books carefully.
  • Borrowing: Books can be borrowed for a period of one week and must be returned on time.
  • Damage/Loss: Any damage or loss of library books will result in a fine or replacement of the book.

8. Transportation

  • School Buses: Students using school transportation must adhere to the rules set by the school regarding bus conduct.
  • Safety: Misbehavior on the bus can lead to suspension of bus privileges.

9. Parents and Guardians

  • Meetings: Parents are expected to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) regularly.
  • Communication: Any concerns or issues should be communicated to the school authorities through the proper channels.

10. Disciplinary Actions

  • Violations: Any violation of the school rules and regulations will result in disciplinary actions which may include warnings, detention, suspension, or expulsion depending on the severity of the misconduct.
  • Authority: The school administration holds the final authority in all disciplinary matters.
